German Design Studios

I was recently asked about my favourite German design studios. And apart from the usual suspects like Mirko Borsche and Hort (yes, Eikes Grafischer Hort started in Frankfurt) there are a few small studios I really like. One of my favourites is called SchultzSchultz. They are based in Frankfurt, and are most famous for their Instagram, which is full of experimental tools made with processing. They come from a club culture background, with album covers and fashion projects in their folio, but their arty approach to experimental graphic design augmented by coded tools is what I find most inspiring.

Check out their portfolio here https://www.schultzschultz.com/selected-works
